What is the thickness of galvanic (electroplating) coatings? The answer is obvious: very small, measured in microns / micrometers:
- about 4.5 μm: the typical thickness of the Hard Chrome layer
- about 10 μm: the typical thickness of the Zinc-Nickel layer
