Selectively electroplating: only the inside diameter of the blind hole

We would like to show our modern technology that could be adjusted strictly to the needs – which is the Precision Plating System. As an example, PPS technology is used for selective plating of the inside diameter of the blind hole, as demonstrated in the picture from this post. PPS system guarantees that the highest plating quality will be achieved: Cpk > 1.67 and PPM: 0-1. In addition, innovative Engineering with automatization fits ideally to manipulate discrete parts that are sensitive to damage.

    Selective plating of Electric Vehicles(EV) motors parts.

    Electric motors could reach speeds above 20,000 rpm that is why EV engines should be produced using the best technology available. This applies to all materials and parts used inside the electric motor. Especially rotor and stator have to be extremely strong to keep them from flying apart.

    Greystone selective plating technology could allow to use less rare earths. From the design level: thanks to the Precision Plating System® we could plate the parts directly where it is obligated. For instance, the magnet surface could have a coat only on the areas where it is needed. Greystone’s innovative engineering allowed galvanizing the parts using an integrated automation system with high-quality requirements: PPM: 0 – 1, Cpk > 1,67.
